West Carolina University STEM Building

On this project, Technique has been tapped to handle all general contracting for the demolition of the current Natural Science Building at West Carolina University, followed by the construction of a new multi-storied building that will replace it. Construction on this new building began in April of 2018 and is expected to conclude in November of 2021. The new building will feature state-of-the-art lab equipment, collaborative space, and the inclusion of a steam micro-plant to carry capacity for up to four University buildings to relieve the university’s aging steam plant. as well as turnkey concrete services, site development, and utilities, and both the interior and exterior buildout of the new STEM building.
