On January 19, 2020, Technique Concrete Construction President and CEO Billy Freeman, Jr. visited with students from the Maynard Jackson Youth Foundation leadership academy.
Freeman, Jr. spent the morning teaching students about Technique Concrete Construction. Aside from giving students a history of the company and its services, he expressed the necessity of a higher education degree to be able to work in the concrete construction industry. Freeman, Jr. shared how many of the services that Technique provides are dependent on workers who have earned degrees in fields like architecture and engineering. He also spent time learning more about the students in the academy, who shared with him their aspirations for getting a college degree.
Freeman, Jr. also announced that Technique Concrete Construction would increase its five-year sponsorship engagement to a 10-year engagement, allowing students to further benefit from the resources that Technique provides the leadership academy.
