Billy Freeman, Jr. accepts congratulations from fellow NAMC Hall of Fame
member Arthur McQueen, CEO of EGM Services, Inc.

In June 2017, Technique Concrete Construction CEO and president Billy Freeman, Jr. was welcomed into the NAMC Hall of Fame. NAMC (National Association of Minority Contractors) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to build a strong community through its network of local chapters and corporate partnerships. NAMC recognized Freeman for his tireless effort and determination to maintain the industry’s standards of excellence.

Following in his father’s footsteps, Freeman has worked in the concrete industry his entire life. While Technique Concrete started as a small company with an uphill climb to overcome, their initial concrete installation projects caught the eye of Atlanta’s largest contractors. Freeman and his crew quickly established working relationships with these organizations, who now use Technique Concrete as their primary contractor.

Today, Technique Concrete employs more than 120 people, many of whom are the sons and nephews of Technique’s foundation crew. Freeman puts his employees above everything else, noting that “you make money taking care of your people.” His philosophy is to treat all Technique team members with the same standards, whether they be executives working on Technique’s corporate side or contractors who work in the field.

Technique Concrete Construction is proud of its fearless leader for this nomination and looks forward to the future accolades that are to come.
